From April 3rd to April 6th, the 82nd Annual Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) Conference took place in Chicago, bringing together scholars from around the world to discuss cutting-edge research in political science. Among the online presenters was Jozef Michal Mintal from Matej Bel University, who showcased a collaborative paper developed in partnership with fellow BRRIDGE project researchers.

The presentation introduced a new conceptualization and measurement approach for assessing the representativeness of political systems and party-voter congruence. The paper was co-authored by Jozef Michal Mintal, Felix Butzlaff (CEU), Bence Hamrak (CEU), Robert Vancel (UMB), and Kamila Borseková (UMB).

This joint effort reflects the core goals of BRRIDGE in fostering interdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration on democratic innovation and governance. The participation at MPSA 2025 underscores the project’s commitment to contributing to international academic discourse and advancing methodological approaches in political science.
