From March 18 to 20, 2025, the 12th Central European Winter Seminar of Regional Science took place in Donovaly, Slovakia. Set in a beautiful mountain environment, the seminar aimed to foster new networks among emerging and established regional scientists across Europe. This year’s keynote speaker was Hans Westlund from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. The seminar featured a wide range of thematic sessions, including regional development strategies, innovation, urban change, labor markets, and the role of institutions. Kamila Borseková presented a joint BRRIDGE project contribution developed in collaboration between Matej Bel University and Central European University, titled “Decision Tree Insights into Spatial and Temporal Patterns of Convergence in EU Labour Markets.”
