
From November 28 to 30, 2023, the city of Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, became a hub of critical dialogue and collaboration as it hosted the Human Forum 2023, marking the tenth anniversary of this prominent international conference. Organized by the civic platform “Nie v našom meste” (Not in Our Town) in collaboration with the Institute for Democracy at Matej Bel University, the forum has evolved into a significant event dedicated to promoting democracy, human rights, and civic engagement at local and global levels.
