In February 2025, the Irish Centre for Human Rights at the University of Galway hosted an intensive joint working session between Matej Bel University and the University of Galway. The focus was on advancing two collaborative research publications currently in progress: “Resisting Gender Fatigue? Framing Effects, Equality, and the Politics of Illiberalism” and “Gender, Illiberalism, and Socio-Economic Factors.” These sessions provided a valuable opportunity for in-depth discussion, co-writing, and strategic planning. The outcomes of this collaboration will be presented at several upcoming international conferences, namely EGPA in Florence (March 2025), ECPR Joint Sessions in Prague (May 2025), and the ERSA Congress in Athens (August 2025, to gather feedback ahead of publication submissions.
